Dear PuneethKumar....In India, lot of companies are doing engineering support not the real Design. Few companies are doing Product design. If you have a good experience in NPD/NPI you can get job anyware in India irrespective of the market condition.

What is design? Why do we use CAD and not manual design?

You can see the real 3D model without manufacturing...and keep add your thoughts during the design stage Also you can do analysis and reduce time and save cost

Dear phani.. If you interested in design field, please go with either Proe/UG/CATIA.. All these are good, but in bangalore I m unsure about the opportunity on particular tool for more chances. Does the software include all the required drafting tools you need?

Yes. But if you are interested to settle in CAD/CAM, it's better to learn engineering drawing standards before going for any CAD training. In the CAD software's, all are not good for drafting (i.e user friendly).
