Answer 
There are 12 shrutis Or pitches in hindustani music. Saa re ga ma pa dha ni , saa and pa are called achala swara, means they won't vary others have both shuddha and komal swaras and teevra madhyama. According to our quality of voice we can choose the pitch.

there are 2 diffrent things in music, Pitch and scale where students tend to get confused, Pitch is how hight or low you are singing where as scale means one sa to another sa.
