Hindi language is based on Sanskrit and originated in 1600 A.D. but didn't become widely used until the 18th century. Hindi is not as complicated as Sanskrit and has two genders and three cases.

No.sanskrit is the one of the oldest language way back before Christ .Hindi is an advanced language though uses devnagri script which is quite similar although not fully comprehensive of Sanskrit script but written from left to right
