For Primary classes it is advisable to start with the vocabulary and the the basics of sentence formation.Grammer always plays a vital role in the process.

Since it is primary class you have to repeatedly make them learn in an innovative way like doing some activities using the alphabets, flashcard or in an puzzle form.
