Dr. Spoorthi B S is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of
Electronics and Communication Engineering at Malnad College of Engineering.
Hassan, with over seven years of academic experience. She completed her Ph.D. in
Electronics and Communication Engineering from Dayananda Sagar University in
2025, specializing in Advanced Data Security using Quantum Cryptographic and
Steganographic Techniques. Her research interests include quantum cryptography,
cyber security, block chain, steganography, and Al-integrated security systems, and
she has contributed through several international journal publications (Scopus/SCIE
indexed), book chapters, and two granted patents. She has actively served as a
reviewer for IEEE and international conferences, taken part in numerous faculty
development programs and workshops on emerging technologies, and has been
involved in departmental accreditation activities (NBA, NAAC). Beyond
academics, she has guided student projects, mentored internships, and coordinated
placements while also engaging in professional communities such as the Al-ML
Innovative Entrepreneurs and Engineers Association, IUCEE, and IFERP.
