@Anand Pandey Gave textbook definition, and one should use it. I recommend. Just wanted to add, in the practical world, one model may induce more risks then benefits and some augmentation from other models is required to fit a process in a company's eco-system. Drivers like Investment, Time, Resources matter a lot. So, teams pick and choose features from various traditional models and build a custom-fit model (like we mix and match for our daily living or TV package) which people refer to as Hybrid Models. This archives satisfaction, results and continuity as we lower risk of losing too much capital without achieving anything.
