Pig is Latin scripting language for big data framework like hadoop. Swoop is a data ingestion tool for rdnms to hdfs where we import or export data to and from HDFS to rdnms like mysql,Oracle,db2,sqlserver,vertica.

pig is a scripting language where you can apply transformations on the data. On the other hand Sqoop is tool to import/export data from/to RDBMS.

Not At All . To be Hadoop Developer , you need the knowledge of basic core Java programming along with SQL . No one will ask any question in interview on hibernate .
