When you refer to the "best material for Hadoop," I assume you are asking about the best resources or materials to learn Hadoop. Learning Hadoop involves understanding the core concepts, components, and practical applications of the Hadoop ecosystem. Here are some recommended materials for learning Hadoop:

  1. Official Documentation:

    • Start with the official documentation of the Apache Hadoop project. It provides in-depth information about Hadoop components, configurations, and usage. The documentation is regularly updated and is a reliable source of information.
  2. Books:

    • There are several books that offer comprehensive coverage of Hadoop and its ecosystem. Some recommended titles include:
      • "Hadoop: The Definitive Guide" by Tom White.
      • "Hadoop in Action" by Chuck Lam, Mark Grover, and others.
      • "Big Data: A Revolution That Will Transform How We Live, Work, and Think" by Viktor Mayer-Schönberger and Kenneth Cukier (provides a broader perspective on big data and includes discussions on Hadoop).
  3. Online Courses:

    • Platforms like Coursera, edX, and Udacity offer online courses on Hadoop and big data technologies. Courses from institutions like the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) or the University of Illinois are popular choices. Additionally, platforms like LinkedIn Learning and Pluralsight also have courses on Hadoop.
  4. Tutorials and Blogs:

    • Follow tutorials and blogs from reputable sources to gain practical insights and tips. Websites like Hortonworks, Cloudera, and the Apache Hadoop blog are good places to start. Community-driven platforms like Stack Overflow and the Apache Hadoop mailing lists can also be valuable for problem-solving.
  5. Video Tutorials:

    • Platforms like YouTube and other online learning platforms offer video tutorials on Hadoop. Channels such as "edureka!" and "Simplilearn" often provide comprehensive video courses.
  6. Hands-On Practice:

    • Set up a Hadoop cluster on your local machine or use cloud services like Amazon EMR, Google Dataproc, or Microsoft Azure HDInsight to get hands-on experience. Practical experience is crucial for understanding how to work with Hadoop.
  7. Certifications:

    • Consider pursuing certifications related to Hadoop, such as the Cloudera Certified Developer (CCD) or Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP) certifications. These certifications validate your knowledge and skills in using Hadoop.

Remember that Hadoop is just one part of the broader big data ecosystem. As you progress in your learning journey, you might also want to explore related technologies like Apache Spark, Apache Flink, and others to enhance your skills in big data processing and analytics.

Ok, after graduated where some people placed in campus placements and some people will go further studies and some are will get refer to their company's and some people will get a employee chance as Third party vendor. Now,coming to job after working hard on one technology for at least 1 year will get bored for every one in IT industry and they don't have a chance to do R & D and don't get a new requirements and don't have a chance to move in to new technology and don't have a chance to put quit for a job because their personal reason. After getting bored on one technology they have moved into another technology their same programming and same requirement but only different syntax's, different programming. Is this happen for every developer, every programmer in IT industry. As I am totally confused which technology I have choose and sometimes I want to quit.
