"My daughter Mahir, was six years old when she started learning music under Sulagna Ma’am. Ma’am is very pateint and consistent with Mahir. Teaching a 6 year old is not an easy feat. She brought in a perfect balance of guru shishya parampara and modern techniques to make the learning process apt. Her classes are focused and tailored as per the shishya’s temperament and talent. For Sulagna Ma’am, her students always come first. She works hard and gives 100% during the classes. She has guided me tremendously so that I can help Mahir with practice sessions at home. Be it bhajan, Raags, light songs.. she teaches with such grace. We are lucky to have her as mahir’s guru because she brings motherly touch while she teaches Mahir. Sulagna Ma’am keeps her self up to date on the exams, competitions and curriculum structure of all prestigious institutions for music.
