Sonali K.

I am an experienced mathematics educator with nearly three decades of dedicated classroom and instructional experience, specializing in elementary-level education (grades K–8). I hold a degree in teaching, which has provided me with a strong foundation in both subject mastery and effective, age-appropriate teaching methodologies.

For the past 6 years, I have been teaching with Cuemath, where I have honed my skills in delivering structured, personalized math instruction in an online setting. This experience has strengthened my ability to engage young learners remotely, adapt lessons to individual learning styles, and maintain consistent academic progress through interactive, one-on-one instruction.

Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of how young learners build foundational numeracy and problem-solving skills. My approach centers on breaking down mathematical concepts into clear, manageable steps, using patience, structured guidance, and encouragement to help each student build both competence and confidence in math.

I believe that a strong relationship between educator and student is essential to effective learning, particularly at the elementary level, where curiosity and self-assurance are just as important as academic skill. I am committed to creating a supportive, engaging, and structured online learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.

I look forward to bringing my extensive experience and passion for teaching to support students in achieving their full potential in mathematics.
