It closely resembles Raag Jhinjhoti which is far more popularly known to Indian audience. The phrase G m S with Meend from Madhyam to Shadj is Raag Vachak phrase of Khambavati. No there is no particular age, you can start learning tabla whenever you want, but obviously music is a language and the mind of children are able to learn and adapt to new languages much faster and with ease, that is why sometimes it is preferred that the musical training should start at an young ag...
