I have experience in teaching children how to draw different objects and creatures for storytelling, portrait drawing, nature study, still life, and my favourite Architectural drawings with perspective. Shading and rendering with Graphite, Charcoal, Colour Pencils make the drawings come to life. From what I understand, you need to find activities that will make him stop running away to the next thing. Inspire him, attract him instead of insisting or asking. Appreciate it every time he sits with you. Children with too much energy and insatiable curiosity are a blessing but also a challenge :) Keep trying different ways.
