I graduated in Psychology from Lady Shri Ram College for Women in 2020. I have previously taught English to children of classes 6th, 7th and 8th. I graduated with amongst the top 10 students in my batch. My teaching methodology mainly involves Socratic questioning where I allow my students to develop deepest knowledge of a subject while giving them gentle nudges. If needed I engage in pictorial depictions, using charts and graphs to make a topic understand better. I try to create an empathetic, growth-oriented, optimist and a non-judgemental environment where exchange of knowledge can take place enriching both my students and I.
I focus on learning and understanding rather than running after marks. I try to remain available almost all the time in case the students have any doubts. I don't believe in competition therefore I don't emphasis on it. I want my students to be the best version of their selves and not engage in meaningless comparison with others.
