What are some good books for self-preparation of the IELTS academic module?

The official Cambridge guide to IELTS is a great book to get yourself prepared for the exam! Containes 8 practice tests, which will give you an indication where you stand and what exact areas you need to work on.

Initially, one must learn to read and to listen, after than gradually one can start speaking. Reading magazines, newspapers and listening to english commentary are some of the good option available.

How can I score band 8 in all four tests for IELTS?

Scoring 8 band in all the modules should not be a problem if you are versed with the exam pattern well in advance and prepare yourself accordingly.
