Bhumika S.

I am a first-year B.Sc. Life Sciences student at Gurugram University with a strong passion for teaching Biology and simplifying Organic and Inorganic Chemistry for students. I believe in making complex concepts easy to understand through clear explanations, conceptual learning, and practical examples.

I have one year of informal teaching experience, during which I tutored my neighbour’s daughter, who scored 60 out of 70 in her Class 12 mid-term examinations. This experience strengthened my ability to explain concepts effectively and adapt my teaching approach to a student’s learning needs.

I am proficient in English and fluent in both Hindi and English, with strong verbal communication, public speaking, and presentation skills. My participation in debates, Model United Nations (MUNs), and speeches has further enhanced my confidence, articulation, and ability to communicate ideas effectively.

I completed my Class 10 education at Our Lady of Fatima Convent Senior Secondary School, Sector 14, Gurugram, and my Classes 11 and 12 at Colonel’s Central Academy, Sector 4, Gurugram. During my school years, I received a Green Card in the Biology Marathon in Class 11 and a Green Card for Best Ad-Mad Presentation at the Literature Fest.

As a learner, I have always been drawn to understanding subjects beyond surface-level memorisation. I enjoy exploring concepts in depth identifying simpler and more effective ways to understand them, and helping others develop the same clarity. My goal is to make learning engaging concept-oriented and accessible to every student.
