For intermediate students, I work on improving timing, improvisation, barre chords, advanced strumming, and genre-specific styles such as acoustic, pop, and light classical. I also help students learn songs of their choice, which keeps them motivated and engaged while applying what they’ve learned. My teaching emphasizes ear training and musical understanding rather than just memorizing chords. I encourage students to listen, identify patterns, and develop their own playing style. I also provide regular practice routines and track progress to ensure consistent improvement. I conduct lessons in a friendly and supportive environment, making sure students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves through music. My goal is not just to teach guitar, but to build confidence, creativity, and a long-term passion for playing.
