How to use excel formula?

Its more of a practical question you are asking. To use the formula you need to understand the language of excel as in the parameters asked in a formula. How do you deal with large data sets in Excel?

if your data is in millions then you not like to store data in excel because excel will collapse or work on calculations very slowly. In these scenarios we like to connect excel with database like ms access or sql server because they can store good amount of data very easily. MS Access has a 2 GB limit... ...more

MS Access has a 2 GB limit and sql server is way beyond. you can get your required data imported into excel using vba and can furthe do lot of analysis using excel tools and functions. If your data is in thousands then you can store the data in excel itself and use all its powerful functions and features to refine the data ,to make it structured.
