My journey into the world of finance began at St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, a tier-1 institution that instilled in me a rigorous work ethic and a deep curiosity for market dynamics. It was here, amidst a culture of academic excellence, that I chose to push my boundaries by taking on the challenge of the Chartered Accountancy (CA) Intermediate curriculum. Navigating the demanding coursework of both my degree and professional accountancy laid a rock-solid foundation in accounting standards, corporate law, and financial discipline, setting the stage for what was to come.

Driven to expand my analytical horizon globally, I set my sights on the CFA charter. Balancing the grueling milestones of the curriculum alongside professional commitments was an exercise in extreme time management and grit, culminating in successfully clearing CFA Level 3. This milestone solidified my mastery over portfolio management, asset valuation, and investment ethics, transforming complex financial theory into a language I speak fluently.

Simultaneously, I transitioned into the corporate world, securing a role in management consulting at Bain & Company. Working at a top-tier consulting firm has allowed me to apply my financial knowledge to high-stakes, real-world corporate strategies and structured problem-solving. This unique blend of clearing the highest level of the CFA program and working at the frontier of corporate consulting equips me to bring invaluable, practical insights into the classroom, bridging the gap between academic textbooks and boardroom realities for the next generation of finance professionals.
