Aarohan Music Classes

Aarohan - Gurukul of music is created with a vision to invigorate Hindustani classical music by Rahul Parmar. The aim of this channel is burst the myths around classical music like:

1 - Classical music can only be understood and appreciated by elite cognoscenti.
2 - Classical musicians only play old music that has no relevance to today.
3 - Classical music is only good for going to sleep at night.
4 - Classical concerts are so stuffy!

But the fact is, Classical music is the foundation of all types of music which we are listening to in our day to day life and consists only of these Seven swaras Sa, Re Ga ,Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni. It is just we are not aware of it.

Rahul Parmar is the Founder of Aarohan Music. Born and brought up in Palwal. He dedicatedly spent his next 20 years learning Hindustani classical music and. He has completed his graduation in music from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya (New Delhi) and his Master in Music from renowned Khairagarh University (Chhattisgarh).
After completing his education, initially, he began his musical career with many classical baithaks and journey continued with many classical music events based on:
1. Hindustani Classical
2. Semi-Classical
3. Light music (Thumri, Bhajans, Gazals, Rabindra Sangeet, etc.)
He was also part of many musical workshops during this time.

He is also the founder of Abhivadan Education & Cultural Development trust and is helping the underprivileged children in their overall development.
