Teaching at Divine Public School, Gorakhpur, was a defining chapter in my career and one that remains incredibly close to my heart. During my tenure as a Science teacher for classes 6 to 8, I found that education was about much more than just following a syllabus—it was about building a community of curious, young minds. My classroom was a space of active discovery. I firmly believed that science should be experienced, not just memorized. To bridge the gap between complex concepts and student understanding, I integrated fun, interactive sessions into our daily routine. We didn’t just read about plant biology or physical forces; we explored them through experiments and discussions that sparked genuine excitement. One of my primary focuses was ensuring that no student felt left behind, and I took great pride in my doubt-clearing sessions. Seeing the "lightbulb moment" when a difficult concept finally clicked for a student was the most rewarding part of my day. This dedicated approach reflected in the amazing results my students achieved, which remains a testament to our collective hard work. Beyond the academics, the emotional connection I built with my students was truly special. The interaction was vibrant, respectful, and full of energy. My goal was always to make the language come alive through storytelling, creative writing, and interactive dialogue, ensuring that young learners felt confident in their expression. While my core academic expertise lies in Biology and the Sciences (supported by my M.Sc. in Botany and B.Sc. in Biology), I have successfully leveraged this "Scientific Temperament" to teach primary students. I don't just teach Science; I help students discover the world around them. My background allows me to simplify complex natural phenomena into fun, digestible lessons that satisfy the endless curiosity of 6-to-10-year-olds. In addition to Science and English, I am an expert in Hindi, providing a well-rounded, multilingual approach to primary education. This versatility allows me to support students across their entire curriculum, ensuring consistency in their learning journey. My teaching philosophy is built on engagement and clarity. At Divine Public School, I was known for my ability to clear doubts through creative "fun sessions" that kept students excited about coming to class. Although my husband’s military deployment to a remote field area necessitated a shift to online teaching, my dedication remains unchanged.
