I’m Jovita L. Alexander, an English educator with over 6 years of experience working with young learners across schools and online platforms.
I specialize in English language and literature, ESL, phonics, grammar, and public speaking, and also have experience teaching Environmental Studies and Social Studies. My focus is on helping children become confident and expressive communicators, especially those who hesitate to speak, experience stage fear, or lack confidence in English.
My classes are interactive and engaging, using storytelling, activities, worksheets, and real-life connections to make learning meaningful and easy to understand. I work with students from Grades 1 to 7, supporting their development in reading, writing, speaking, spelling, and overall confidence, including stage presence.
I also design structured lesson plans, worksheets, and revision materials to ensure that students not only learn, but retain and apply what they learn.
As a teacher, I believe that every child learns differently. With the right guidance and encouragement, every child can grow in confidence and develop strong communication skills.
I aim to create a learning environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and inspired to express themselves freely.
