I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at Girijananda Chowdhury University, where I teach undergraduate and postgraduate students across a range of commerce disciplines. My primary areas of teaching include Financial Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Taxation, Financial Management, and Business Finance. My teaching philosophy emphasizes conceptual clarity, practical application, and analytical thinking. I strive to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world business practices by incorporating case studies, numerical problem-solving, industry examples, and interactive discussions into my lectures. My objective is to help students not only perform well in examinations but also develop the professional skills required for careers in accounting, finance, taxation, and business management. In addition to classroom teaching, I mentor students on research projects, presentations, assignments, and career development. I actively contribute to curriculum development, academic mentoring, examination activities, and departmental initiatives. I also organize workshops and seminars to expose students to emerging areas such as GST, sustainable finance, financial markets, and research methodology. As an educator, I believe in creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and apply theoretical concepts to practical situations. My goal is to inspire confidence, curiosity, and lifelong learning while equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in both academia and the corporate world.
