Avoid the Traps Remove unneeded dimensions from the detail Reduce the number of filters in use Use an include filter, continuous date filter, Boolean or numeric filters. Perform calculations in the database Reduce the number of nested calculations Reduce the granularity of LOD or table calculations in the view Where possible, use MIN or MAX instead of AVG Make groups with calculations. Use Booleans or numeric calculations instead of string calculations.

Does TIBCO Spotfire have "Page Shelves" like Tableau?

I believe Spotfire can do this but requires some scripting on their platform. I also believe it will "play" through the cycles as opposed to Tableau which requires the user to manually page through.
