I have an academic background in Commerce and Management, with a Bachelor of Commerce, an MBA with dual specialization in Human Resource Management and Marketing, and I am currently a PhD Research Scholar in Management (awaiting final viva) at the Mittal School of Business, Lovely Professional University.

My doctoral research focuses on the role of soft skills in enhancing employability and organizational effectiveness, particularly within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, using a mixed-methods approach that integrates qualitative and quantitative analysis.

In terms of experience, I have worked as a Teaching Assistant during my PhD, supporting course delivery in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Research Methodology, and Qualitative Analysis. This role involved assisting in lectures, mentoring students, facilitating discussions, evaluating assignments, and supporting the use of analytical tools such as SPSS, MAXQDA, ATLAS.ti, and SmartPLS.

I also have research experience as a Research Assistant on an ICSSR-funded project, where I contributed to data collection, thematic analysis, report writing, and policy-oriented insights. My research contributions include Scopus-indexed journal publications, edited volumes, and book chapters with reputed publishers such as Emerald and IGI Global, along with presentations at national and international conferences.

Prior to academia, I gained industry exposure through internships in HR, digital marketing, and affiliate marketing, which helped me develop a strong understanding of organizational practices, employee engagement, and applied business strategies. This industry experience enriches my teaching by enabling me to connect theory with practice.

Overall, my background reflects a balanced blend of academic rigor, research productivity, teaching support experience, and industry exposure, positioning me well for the role of Assistant Professor.
