Teaching Experience in detail in Scratch Programming

I am teaching scratch to young fellows as well as kids as small as 5-6 year old.As soon as they can start reading words ,they can learn programming in scratch.According to age level I can teach students.I assure you that my way of teaching will be very effective for creating a foundation of student as a programmer.I can give free demo if you wish. COURSE CONTENT IS FOR VERSION 3.0 : Moving blocks, creating scripts, and repeating blocks, Drawing with a computer,: Coordinates and conditionals,Drawing with iteration, Broadcast and random numbers,Updating variables in repeats, iterative development, and the ask and join blocks , Scratch tools, gravity, and mazes,Building your own blocks,: Strategies for games,Final Projects.

I have not much information about your requirements. But you have stated that you are looking for a Scratch programming tutor. So I'm reverting back to you as a tutor providing online lessons for Scratch. I am following a smooth pedagogy, specially when dealing with children. Before starting with online sessions with children I always make sure that are they really up for it? If yes then I try to find out how much do they know in prior or how much are they inclined towards this new course, and if not then I take proper measures to bring the initial excitement needed to start beforehand. I believe that a little preparation goes a long way .I teach my student to do warm up with a little piece of codes before they can start with a really good logically happy ending programme. I try to cater to multiple intelligences. I don't believe in delivering lessons in same pattern everyday. I believe in a healthy discussion, doing the dry run of programme, some times doing offline coding activities. I don't let them get bored. My lessons includes animations, music, video, fun in coding. I try to Mix it up .Gone are the days when coding starts with printing '*' in particular fashion, or printing even\odd numbers. Now Coding starts with games, animation , story telling, creativity. I provide an arsenal of materials along with my lessons so that even after lessons are over kids will have complete guidance for referring back. Remember it's not all about the code syntax! Say ,I let them play angry bird game and teach them about the physics involved in projectile fly of bird. So they should realise about how to code. Teaching will always be in context , you may find us doing activities some times offline or some time on paper, but trust me it's a part of pedagogy which at last going to develop a logic in kid's mind. Coding is about teaching how computer thinks. For non code 'jump and move' is simple verb , but for a coder it's bunch of code where x and y coordinates are changing for object on click of space_bar + left_arrow key. Logics are as important as knowing syntax in a computer language. At the end I always try to keep them motivated!! Happy Coding!
