Neha, if you are starting as a fresher in foreign language, you need to study for two hours a day for four to five months to learn the basics. but everything depends on your IQ level, how fast you take the language of study and understand the basics in French.

je pratique is a good book, alter ego c1 , i think you should read newspaper and native stuff to be through with the exam plus various sites are having exercises. francais facile is also a good option
