I've taken Spanish for three years and I'm debating switching to French 101 for college. What should I do?

Make reading more important than TV for a language? Like French, Hindi, Telegu, Spanish etc.....
There should be a balance between the two. Listening is equally important as reading. Reading gives you insight of the theory, enhances your vocabulary and keeps you aware of the Grammar of that language...
