im from mechanical field can i get in to cyber security??what are the courses i have to learn

Its important that you need to have basics of networking ( tcp ip , ip addresss, subnet masking , etc ). You also need to understand how 2 devices communicate to each other and how protocols and ports are important in functioning of IT system. It may sound complex but with right set of instructors and labs it will be very logical . Donot jump into CEH directly . If Hardware is new to you .. get familiar with hardware , then operating systems, basics of virtualization ( atleast create a virtual machine and understand how IT evolved ).. then how do secure your systems .. Getting into cyber security is an evolution and happens only if your background on Information systems basics is strong . getting into CEH directly without getting your basics right will be waste of effort and time . read less
