How Fashion photography is different from day to day photography?

There is a lot more Pre Shoot planning that is required in a Fashion photoshoot compared to a day to day photography. it is team work consisting of the photographer, model, make up artist, stylist and sometimes the product or the publication coordinator. everything from the costume, accessories, background, look/mood/theme, make up is planned before the shoot begins. the lighting also is planned accordingly. read less

The primary difference here is the usage or applicability. In Fashion photography, emphasis is given to the product, model with a definite objective whereas in day to day photography may not necessarily mean any objective, it may just be for a candid shot or you like something and would like to keep it for your own use.
