I have worked with National Board of accreditation for 2 years as Analysis and The National Board of Accreditation (NBA), India was initially established by AICTE (All India Council of Technical
Education) under section 10(u) of AICTE act, in the year 1994, for periodic evaluations of technical institutions &
programs basis according to specified norms and standards as recommended by AICTE council. My Job Profile & Responsibilities was To assess and grade colleges and institutions of technical and professional education, the courses and
programs offered by them, their various units, faculty, departments etc.
ï?¶ Encourage innovations, self-evaluation and accountability of higher education.
ï?¶ Promote necessary changes, innovations and reforming aspects of the working of colleges/institutions of
technical and professional education.
ï?¶ Help institutions realize their academic objectives.
ï?¶ To carry our assessment and accreditation following the standard of academic quality specified by the
appropriate statutory regulatory authorities.
ï?¶ To specify and guide institutions with detailed manual of process and procedures for carrying out assessment
and accreditation through a transparent and accountable mechanism.
ï?¶ To follow a code of ethics and integrity during the process of assessment and accreditation process.
