Dipanshu Sharma - Dedicated Tutor for Classes 1–7 | All Subjects | Concept-Based Learning

I am a dedicated home tutor teaching students from Class 1 to 5 across all subjects. I have 1 year of teaching experience and enjoy working with young learners during the important early years of their academic journey. My focus is on helping students develop strong basic concepts, understand their lessons clearly, and build positive learning habits. I believe that children learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and are given individual attention according to their needs.
I have completed my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) and have developed my teaching skills through practical experience in tutoring school students. While teaching younger students, I have understood the importance of keeping explanations simple, clear, and age-appropriate. I make an effort to understand the student's current level before planning the lessons so that I can explain topics in a way that is easy for them to follow and remember.
My teaching approach is student-focused and based on building a strong foundation. At the primary level, it is important that students understand the basics before moving to more difficult topics. I therefore spend time identifying concepts that the student may find difficult and explain them step by step using simple examples. I encourage students to ask questions whenever they have doubts and make sure they are comfortable with a topic before moving on to the next one.
Along with teaching the subjects included in the school curriculum, I also help students complete their homework and maintain regular practice. I believe that consistent practice is essential for developing confidence and improving academic performance. I guide students through their schoolwork, help them understand questions independently, and encourage them to develop better study habits. My aim is not simply to help students finish their work but to make sure they understand what they are studying.
I also provide support for exam preparation and revision. I help students review important concepts, practise questions, identify areas that require additional attention, and prepare systematically for their examinations. I adjust the pace of lessons according to the student's academic schedule and learning requirements. When a student finds a particular topic challenging, I give additional explanation and practice so that they can approach it with greater confidence.
I use a whiteboard during my classes to explain concepts, write important points, solve questions, and demonstrate problems step by step. I find visual explanations particularly useful for younger students because they make lessons easier to follow and help keep them engaged. Whether I am teaching Mathematics, Science, English, or another subject, I try to keep the class interactive and encourage students to participate rather than simply listen.
My goal as a tutor is to make learning clear, comfortable, and engaging for every student. I provide individual attention and adapt my teaching style according to the child's learning pace, strengths, and areas of improvement. Whether a student needs help with daily schoolwork, homework, regular practice, strengthening basic concepts, or preparing for examinations, I aim to provide patient and consistent guidance. I want my students to gradually become more confident, independent, and enthusiastic about their studies while building a strong academic foundation for the future.
