My Experience as a Trainee Teacher Being a trainee teacher has been an exciting and learning experience. When I first started, I was a bit nervous about handling the classroom and connecting with the students. But over time, I gained confidence and learned a lot about teaching and managing a class. I quickly realized that patience and flexibility are key when teaching. Every student is different, so I had to find ways to help each one learn. Sometimes, it was challenging to keep the students focused, but I learned to adapt and find ways to make the lessons more engaging. Preparing lesson plans and teaching in front of the class taught me how to be organized and creative. I had to think of interesting ways to explain the lessons and keep the students interested. I also learned how to handle unexpected situations, like when the lesson plan needed to change or when students needed extra help. One of the best parts of my experience was getting to know the students. Some were shy, while others were more talkative. I learned to build relationships with them, creating a respectful and supportive environment in the classroom. I also had the chance to observe experienced teachers, which taught me how to manage a class and handle difficult situations calmly. Their approach to teaching helped me understand how to improve my own teaching style. Overall, my time as a trainee teacher helped me grow and understand the importance of teaching. It made me more confident and gave me the skills I need for the future. I’m excited to continue learning and becoming a better teacher.
