Teaching Experience in detail in Nursing Training Classes

I have experience in nursing training through mentoring junior nurses, orienting newly joined staff, and guiding nursing students during clinical postings. My teaching activities are mainly focused on clinical areas, especially the Operation Theatre and acute care settings. I regularly conduct bedside teaching and hands-on demonstrations on aseptic techniques, infection control practices, patient safety, and standard nursing procedures. In the Operation Theatre, I train junior staff in OT protocols, surgical instrumentation, sterile techniques, patient positioning, surgical counts, and pre- and post-operative nursing care. I have also contributed to in-service education programs by delivering training sessions on topics such as surgical safety checklists, emergency management, basic life support, medication safety, and proper documentation. I assist in competency-based assessments by supervising clinical skills, evaluating performance, and providing constructive feedback. Additionally, I participate in orientation and induction programs for newly recruited nurses, helping them understand hospital policies, workflow, ethical practices, and multidisciplinary teamwork. My teaching approach emphasizes practical learning, evidence-based practice, clear communication, and supportive supervision to ensure safe and competent nursing practice.
