10th results matter for line identification as Science or Accounts or Art Stream.12th results matter for getting into college.College results matter for part getting job interview and confidence and boldness the next part.

The beauty of this book is the simple language and the way of expression and a teacher teaching you with this book will be a plus point for you. My personal view is that DON'T follow indian authors as the material is copied :P and also have some discrepancies. How can one do well in class 11 and 12 (CBSE) without coaching?
Without coaching you have to ref NCERT books. Go through mathematical and science concepts first, learn the formulae and then go for attmpting different MCQ's. By having sufficient practise you will gain confidenece. Best Luck
