Debrit Bandyopadhyay

I am currently pursuing a B.Sc. degree while continuing to grow as a guitarist and musician. I have been playing guitar for around six years and trained under a Trinity-certified teacher, which gave me a strong foundation in technique, rhythm and music theory. I am also part of my own band, so I bring a practical, band-focused approach to every lesson.
My main areas are fingerstyle, jazz and blues guitar, along with chords, rhythm, lead basics and song playing. I believe students progress faster when they understand why something works, not just where to place their fingers. That is why I put real emphasis on music theory, ear training and timing alongside learning songs.
I enjoy working with beginners and helping them build confidence step by step. Lessons can be shaped around your favourite music and your goals, whether that is playing songs, improving technique, learning fingerstyle, jamming with others or building a solid base in guitar.
