I have been training music to my students for the past 40 years. I am not just a trainer but also a singer. I have performed in many national-level music concerts. Among those, the most memorable was when I performed in front of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji, our former Prime minister of India. I completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya Khairagarh Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from Barkatullah Vishwa Vidyalaya Bhopal. I also bagged Geetanjali (Diploma in Sugam Sangeet) from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya Khairagarh and attended a Workshop in Visual Art at Bal Bhavan Society New Delhi.
Although I got trained traditionally, I believe we need to adopt modern means considering the present scenario. This is the only way to teach a new generation of students. It is why I joined a training session under Sonu Nigam ji and learnt the professional way to conduct online music classes. I also worked as a senior manager (Classical) in Artium academy in which Sonu Nigam ji plays a vital role. Anyone willing to learn Indian Classical, Semi Classical, Bollywood, Bhajan, Gazal etc can join my class; I would be glad to train them.
I am not just any vocal music trainer but someone with the right understanding of combining modern and traditional teaching processes. During the lesson delivery, I use a technique in which my students can see all of my fingers gliding through the keys. I also use software where my students can see all the musical instruments playing on one screen. This way, my students do not need to shuffle from one screen to another; they get a proper and comprehensive idea about the beats, notes and all the other required aspects. For a better experience, I also provide my students with tabla loops in MP3 file format.
I also use Audio visual teaching process, which helps the students to understand the lessons easily. While students learn music from me, they know every note perfectly because I use a modern technique to teach them, which is why online classes have become more fun for me. I also provide printable documents of the courses which is a unique feature of my teaching process.
Many of my students are performing on various platforms. Some of them have also become renowned music composers and music directors. I take pride in their success and wish them good luck in their future endeavours.
