Faber-Castell 9000 or Staedtler Mars Lumograph sets are best.

It depends on your skill level and what you're looking for. If you're just starting out, a basic set of pencils will do. If you're more experienced, you might want to look for a set with a wider range of hardness and softness.

If you are going to only draw them any graphite pencils is fine eg: fiber castel 2B 4B ... 8B pencils For sketching use lighter version H 2H 5H pencils If you are going to do potrait then use staddler pencils

If you are new then start with Artline pencils. And if you are good enough you should use steadtler pencils.
