RENU SUNDRIYAL Yes, hair spray is considered one of the cheaper alternatives fixatives for charcoal drawings. It is a cheap substitute and does not alter the combination of charcoal and drawing paper. Fixing the charcoal drawings with hairspray has been in use for many years.
