I don’t think there as such requirement. But most of my friends and myself we user somewhat following :- A decent core i7 machine. Not really a hard requirement but you can live with an i5 too. I don’t think there as such requirement. But most of my friends and myself we user somewhat following :- A decent core i7 machine. Not really a hard requirement but you can live with an i5 too. I use i7 4710HQ 16gb of ram. This seems like minimum requirements. Browsers takes lot of memory so as other messaging tools alongside regular VS, Sql Server Management tools. A decent SSD. Buy the size you can afford. SSD can get really expensive. I user Samsung Evo Pro 240 GB. This is my total set up at the moment. I turned one of my smart tv into a monitor so I did not need an extra one. But I suggest an extra monitor alongside a laptop. read less
