Can someone do unbiased comparison between WebSync (Frozenmountain) and Pusher?

Pusher and WebSync differ in some ways, for instance WebSync can be deployed to your own infrastructure and depending on how you want to implement the signaling into your application it will offer you more flexibility in the long run. WebSync is also less expensive in the long run with a perpetual license model that is quite cheap in comparison of Pusher. Pusher can be a good option to get off the ground quickly if you are just testing the solution out of a POC without deploying your own servers, however FM offers a cloud version of WebSync as well. At the end of the day it depends on your implementation and requirements for your application. Performance wise the products function similarly so you wouldn’t be losing anything picking one over the other but it boils down to what you need longer term. It’s a lot to consider when building a new WebRTC service. read less
