I will suggest you to learn some other language like asp.net mvc ,web api or wpf instead of sharepoint .

You are trying to compare apples to oranges. Plus what is meant by good, what is definition of good for you, for me a few factors are employability after learning, package, future. For all these SharePoint is the option. Having said that, silverlight got its own importance.
