IdentityI am an experienced and passionate teacher, currently pursuing my PhD in Education at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), New Delhi. I have completed my Master’s degree in Politics with specialization in International Studies, from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). I completed my undergraduate studies in History (Honours) from the University of Delhi. I have qualified for the UGC NET–JRF and a few other competitive examinations. Over the years, I have been engaged in learning across various disciplines and teaching students multiple subjects, including Science (Classes 9 and 10), Political Science, History, Geography, and Sociology.
As far as my teaching methods and style are concerned, I prefer a dialogical approach in which students are active participants in the learning process rather than mere passive recipients of instruction. I emphasize contextual learning with a comprehensive understanding of the subject. I consistently encourage students to think critically and act creatively while learning and while approaching various academic and extra-academic task/problems. As a teacher, I believe my strengths lie in my patience, interdisciplinary knowledge, and use of unconventional pedagogical tools.
