No language dies ever!!
It is just modified and made more relavent for the contemporary uses. You will find this happening everywhere. Like Javascript is still there but people are using, React, Express, Angular etc which are nothing but a little interpretation of the language into small sub-systems or functions and they become quick and developer friendly.

Future is bright for anyone who keeps up with the time and updates in the industry, don't be lazy, always try to find out how to better your skills, no body is going to tell you what the future holds....no one knows, even big and well known firms miscalculated, hired a lot of people and fired them. So be good at what you do, that is only gonna keep your skills relavent.

Start with smaller problem, understand it well. Hire someone to guide you through the journey of 4-6 months that it will take. you will be able to gain efficiency and with right guidence you will also know the current industry demands, the kind of advance problems you should solve.....give it a commitment of 200 days like I said, don't take vacation in between and you will be job ready.

Java is faster.
See, every language has its own pros and cons or merits and demerits whatever you want to call it.
Python has a user friendly syntax, it is not strictly typed language meaning if you ignore using parenthesis it will allow it. So python is popular mostly because of its easy syntax and ofcourse its data science and automation applications.
Java on the other hand, provides a wide variety of application uses, most of the large software systems are made using Java, it has been a market leader for a long time now.
