Vijay Singh Bisht

I was born in 2000 and am currently based in Uttarakhand, India. I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Himalayan University, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, specializing in documentary photography. I had the opportunity to work with the Forest of Life Fellowship program at Azim Premji University in Bangalore, where I gained over two years of field practice in documentary and travel photography.
My expertise extends to sports photography, and I showcased my skills at the National Games in Goa, India. I gained professional experience by working on diverse projects in commercial and fine art photography during my time with Sepia Advertising Pvt. Ltd. As a founding member of Fabula magazine, I continue to contribute to the field of photography. Additionally, at Photontology Art Center in Himachal Pradesh, I worked as a storytelling photographer and visual artist, leading experimental visual projects, conducting interdisciplinary research, and curating exhibitions and educational initiatives that integrate photography with other art forms.
