About Me – TP

My name is Teepy Biggins ,originally from Mizoram, in the northeastern part of India. I have dedicated over 20 years to the spa, beauty, wellness, and hospitality industry, building my career from hands-on treatment experience to international spa management and training.

I began my career as a beautician, where I developed a strong foundation in beauty and body treatments. In 2004, I expanded my skills and transitioned into becoming a massage therapist, a profession I continued to pursue passionately until 2012. During this period, I gained extensive practical experience working directly with clients and developed a deep understanding of treatments, client care, body awareness, and the importance of creating a truly positive guest experience.

Alongside my practical experience, I completed professional diplomas in body and beauty treatments, continually developing my technical knowledge and understanding of the spa and wellness industry.

In 2013, I took the next major step in my career and moved into spa management and international hospitality. I joined the cruise line industry, where I initially worked as a Guest Service Representative. Through dedication, leadership, and consistent performance, I progressed through the ranks to become a Spa Assistant Director and subsequently a Spa Manager.

Working in the cruise industry gave me the opportunity to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds and to gain valuable international experience. It also strengthened my skills in leadership, team development, guest relations, sales, operations, service standards, and business performance.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working in different parts of the world and experiencing a wide range of spa environments. This has allowed me to understand that a successful spa is not simply about providing treatments—it is about creating an experience where the guest feels welcomed, cared for, valued, and genuinely looked after.

After leaving my company role in 2022, I decided to take my experience in a new direction. I am now working independently as a freelance spa trainer, sharing the knowledge and experience I have gained throughout my career with therapists, teams, and spa businesses.

Today, my goal is to help develop confident, skilled, professional, and passionate spa therapists and teams. I believe that excellent spa service comes from combining strong technical knowledge with good communication, professionalism, genuine care, and the right attitude.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, from therapist to international spa management and now training, I bring both hands-on treatment knowledge and real-world management experience into my training.

My journey has taught me that in the spa industry, we never stop learning—and my passion now is to help others grow, develop their skills, and build successful careers in the world of spa and wellness.
