An art teacher needs to be able to showcase his or her own work and allow students to do the same. The same teacher should be able to teach students basic techniques and encourage them to take the techniques further. Art teachers must be encouraging and able to inspire students to practice skills that may be uncomfortable at first. Art teachers now should be well versed in visual to allow students to explore different mediums.
