Sushma D.

I have 8 years of experience teaching and exploring the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, with a focus on connecting its teachings to everyday life. My approach centers on making ancient Indian knowledge accessible, meaningful, and practical for learners of different backgrounds.

Through Naari of Sanatan, I aim to help students understand the Bhagavad Gita, learn selected Sanskrit shlokas and their meanings, explore the foundational concepts of the four Vedas, and reflect on values such as self-discipline, compassion, duty, patience, and inner balance.

My teaching approach is interactive and discussion-based. Rather than focusing only on memorisation, I encourage learners to ask questions, understand the context of the teachings, and explore how these ideas can inform their decisions, relationships, responsibilities, and personal growth.

With an academic background in Mass Communication and Journalism, along with postgraduate studies in Public Relations and Event Management, I bring a communication-focused approach to explaining complex ideas in simple, engaging language.

My vision through Naari of Sanatan is to create a welcoming learning environment where students can discover India’s spiritual and philosophical heritage, think critically, and apply meaningful lessons in their daily lives.
