Academic Record: High School:
1.Studied at Lady Irwin Higher Secondary School, New Delhi, till May 1972.
2.Stood first in school throughout all these years.
3.Stood first in the Junior Science Talent Search (All India) Examination in 1969-70 and was awarded the Junior Science Talent Search Scholarship for the three years, 1969-70 (Class IX), 1970-71 (Class X) and 1971-72 (Class XI).
4.Passed the Higher Secondary Examination in 1972 (CBSE), with Division I, securing third position in the Science Merit List and first position among all women students.
5.Was awarded the national Scholarship of the Govt. of India on the basis of the results in the Higher Secondary Examination, 1972, but could not avail of it as it was a merit-cum-means scholarship.
6.Was awarded the National Science Talent Search Scholarship, on the basis of the results of the National S
