I am a professionally trained Hindustani vocalist and passionate music educator with 11 years of experience in teaching and training students of different levels. I specialize in Hindustani Classical, Semi-Classical, Ghazal, Bhajan, and Bollywood singing. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with students with different levels of musical experience and help them develop their voice, musical understanding, confidence, and individual style. I believe that learning music should be both disciplined and enjoyable, and I try to create an environment where students can learn comfortably while continuously improving their skills.

I hold two Bachelor’s degrees in Hindustani Music (Vocal) and a Master’s degree in Hindustani Music (Vocal). My academic training has given me a strong foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of Hindustani Classical Vocal music. Along with my formal education, I have received extensive training in the prestigious Gwalior Gharana and am currently continuing my advanced musical training under the prestigious Banaras Gharana. This continuous learning has helped me deepen my understanding of classical music and refine my own approach to teaching.

My musical journey has included numerous performances, competitions, achievements, honours, awards, and recognitions. I have also had the opportunity to participate in prestigious music platforms and competitions, including Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Each of these experiences has contributed to my growth as a performer and educator. Performing in different settings has also helped me understand the importance of stage confidence, expression, preparation, and the ability to connect with an audience, qualities that I encourage my students to develop as well.

My teaching approach is personalised, interactive, and practical. I understand that every student has a different voice, learning pace, level of experience, and musical goal. I therefore tailor my lessons according to the student's age, current ability, and objectives. Whether a student is a complete beginner, wants to improve their singing and voice quality, is preparing for an examination or competition, or wishes to develop confidence for stage performances, I structure the lessons accordingly.

My classes focus on developing the essential foundations of singing, including sur, taal, voice culture, breathing techniques, expression, improvisation, repertoire, and stage confidence. I follow a clear lesson plan while ensuring that the sessions remain interactive and engaging. I believe students should be able to apply what they learn from the very beginning, so I combine theoretical explanations with practical vocal exercises, singing practice, and guided corrections.

I teach Hindustani Classical, Semi-Classical, Ghazal, Bhajan, and Bollywood singing, allowing students to explore different forms of vocal music while building a strong musical foundation. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate in every class. I also pay attention to individual progress and adjust the pace of learning when required. My aim is not simply to teach songs but to help students understand music, improve their voice, develop musical expression, and gradually become more confident singers.

I offer both online and offline classes and provide personalised guidance throughout the learning journey. I believe that consistent practice, proper technique, patience, and a genuine enjoyment of music are essential for long-term growth. My goal is to help every student progress from their current level, develop their own musical abilities, and become a confident singer while enjoying the process of learning and discovering the beauty of Indian vocal music.
