I learnt microbiology from Sonali ma'am and did my departmental project on Endogenous Retroviruses under her guidance. Honestly she is one of the best teachers I have had. Microbiology can be very confusing but she makes it so simple and interesting. For my project on ERVs, which is a difficult topic, she explained everything so patiently and guided me in every step. She is very supportive and always clears doubts, no matter how many times you ask. She really cares that students actually understand, not just mug up. I learnt a lot from her.
